Aims and Objectives

Association Purpose

Prevent or relieve the suffering of animals, specifically but not limited to canines:

• by sourcing suitable veterinary assistance where required and finding suitable homes for those unwanted or unloved through an adoption application process
• and prioritising those animals being held in pound or death row facilities with a secondary priority of those animal’s identified within the community as unwanted, a nuisance or at a health risk.

SAVE – Farmdogz Rescue Inc. is committed to the rescue of farm dogs from pounds and shelters in Australia.

REHABILITATE – At all times our team will strive to rehabilitate and retrain these dogs to improve their ability to successfully integrate and remain in their adoptive homes;

RE-HOME – We will assist members of the public needing to surrender their working breed dog where they are no longer in a position to adequately provide the care needed to ensure the dogs health and well-being;

ADOPTION – We will always put the dogs needs ahead of all potential adopters requests. We take the time to match preferences to behaviours which ensures we are able to place them into appropriate adoptive homes particularly with the provision of post adoption support were needed;

VOLUNTEERS – We always welcome additional volunteer support, we cherish new foster carers. Without this assistance we are unable to achieve our goals and purpose.
